The First Chapter

Such a beautiful little shop! I visited a few days ago all the way from Sydney and was very impressed. Found most of the books I was looking for - the guy working there was super friendly and checked to see if they had any stock of a book I was looking for. Hubby even commented on how great he thought the shop was! Bonus points for a super comfy couch for hubby to sit on while I shopped 😂 Definitely will return next time I visit Adelaide!

I've brought a number of books from Jess, and even in her busiest hours, she has always been so kind and helpful and down for a chat about new series, recommending a good author or just a good yarn. Her store is beautiful, quaint and very welcoming. Although the stairs suck she is accommodating to needs and will always come up with a solution, such as online ordering. I love this local little book shop that I spend WAY too much money in, its vibes are all there and I love going so much. If you want a vibey little local, come here, the only thing its missing is a coffee machine! Choose local, choose The First Chapter.

I love this store, it has such a great vibe. Its also so great to be able to see all of the books that I get recommended online in person. The owner is so lovely and so welcoming, its great to be able to talk about and buy some out there romance and not feel judged!
